I'm a software developer and UX designer with Data Automatica, a tech collective building software tools for grassroots movements. We are currently working with ANHD, a coalition of housing and tenant rights organizers, to build a housing data and displacement predictor tool for City Council staff, to aggregate data about buildings from various state agencies and make it easier for tenants to access services and find out information about other buildings in their district. We are also starting a meetup series at Bluestockings Bookstore on building mesh networks, police surveillance technologies, algorithmic fairness and the city's automated decision systems. I also teach web development at Per Scholas, an organization serving low-income New Yorkers, helping people from diverse backgrounds transition into a career in tech. I have a background in immigrant labor organizing and community art with youth. I would really love to meet and connect with you if you share similar interests!
